Push-button timer for use with quartz halogen infrared heaters with a maximum switing capacity of 2000 watt. 'On' time can be pre-set for a pre-determined time period of between 5 and 60 seconds. Electronically controlled soft start prevents inductive current surge at switch on, reducing the risk of nuisance tripping at the MCB, and prolonging element life by powering up heater elements gently.
