Elegant infrared heater compatible with the leading SMART HOME radio control technology io-homecontrol® and SOMFY wireless hand transmitters. The powerful infrared short-wave heater (IR-A) RELAX GLASS IP65 provides instant heat in outdoor areas, is waterproof and convinces with reduced light thanks to the high-quality SCHOTT NEXTREMA® ceramic glass screen. The heater is suitable for wall and ceiling mounting in all outdoor areas, brackets included. Please note: RELAX GLASS io heaters with 2200 W are suitable for wall mounting only. Up from 2000 W we recommend using 16A slow blow fuses (C16).

The io heater can easily be integrated in existing io-homecontrol® systems. The heaters are switched on and off and dimmed in three stages on their own channel. The delivery does not include a SOMFY remote control in case, you want to integrate the device in an existing io-homecontrol® system and already have a SOMFY remote. For all starters, we offer SOMFY SITUO wireless hand transmitters with 1 or 5 channels for all new configurations.

Recommendations for calculating the heat output in watts (W) according to the area in square meters (m²):

• 350W/m² for outdoor areas no wind
• 400W/m² for outdoor areas partly windy
• 500W/m² for very cold outdoor areas like seaside/mountains.
